Oh, I thought I read on one of those CSA posters that you can get points on your score for driving ill. I think it falls under fatiged driving or somehing.
-
Well 7k in the box through wy was fun now I'm headed home for the rest of the weekend passing through Carlin nv now
-
Student driver here anyone in the Albuquerque terminal?
-
You are correct. If they know that you are quite ill, CSA, fatigued and I think can make you drive to the nearest safe haven.

@zukimart, long time no see! Welcome back
@Moosetek, I don't think you're being punished for turning down that load, I got a message that freight is soft and asked that we take what is offered as there might be a delay being offered something else.
In my case I was offered a 2000 mile run out of OK City to Seattle area, but I only had 37 hours available and the weather looked terrible going up through there what with the snow and wind in Wyoming (12,000 pound load). This was originally a Mac30 load, I sent a message to my DM if they would accept another day on the load as I would be picking up enough hours to slam dunk it. Next thing I know they shot the load to me as a preplan with an even tighter delivery time lol. I often put 'x' as my reason when turning down loads, they always send a message asking for a 'real reason' lol I thought we didn't need a reason at all..... I just put 'not enough hours + bad weather = x'
Anyway, got another load out, going to Chicago for Monday and all loads after that are pointing west for home.
Just west of St Louis Mo, they're expecting the roads to ice up tonight.Zukimart and Moosetek13 Thank this. -
maybe some of the L/o's can help me out here. i was wondering what are the ins and outs of a lease like what are my freedoms of what i can and cannot do and if it would be worth it to try. Im not afraid of failure but obviously dont want to but want that freedom in trucking what freedom is left anyways. im just curious what are the ins and outs of it
-
just rolled into albertqracky terminal.. went inside thinking they would be watching the football game, nope.... csi.. uhhhg so im out in the truck watching the pregame chefing up some grub and chillin. few snow flurries rolling down the 40w nothing sticking tho.
think im heading down into phx to do a 34, get taxes done then book out to cali and deliver this load and see whats popin on the west coast. just happy to be out of the snow and out of the east coast for a few days.
be safe. -
Well, I'm a company driver so I can't just put 'x' as a reason for turning down a load.
But, I hear you.
I do have a load, picking up tomorrow afternoon and delivering at 0430 on the 16th in West Jordan, UT.
Realy hate that delivery time, but oh well.
