Oxnard , Ca. Got my delivering done early today in Mecca and even had time to stop in at the Ontario TA for some of there nice biscuits and gravy with eggs for breakfast. Tooled on over to Oxnard and now just hanging out waiting for my load to come in to the consolidation centre. Got a second pick in Sanger ca tommorow , then got plenty of time to get back up to Regina to deliver on Friday night.

I don't play them 12 midnight to 3am things no more. My Hot Shot company wants me to Log. And the Log makes a GREAT weapon against stupidity!!!!

Wish it was 2am--hard as it is to believe that hour would b the difference between being mt in san Antonio by noon wed vs 7am Thurs! And I could stay on the property-but this cranky ok guy needs his coffee when I get up and I do prefer to have a few minutes to myself b4 I have to deal with reality--but to each their own--course I don't have a sat or elogs doin my math 4 me either
And what stupidity r u referring to Dave? Customers hours r their hours---have to work within those parameters--personally doing what I do I wish I could make all mydrops on 3d shift---life would b a lot easier--but remember all we have in this industry is SERVICE we don't make anything--we provide a service--that is our business--I think quite often drivers forget that
    Just sayin

If I could have idled when I needed to or had a GOOD APU in the truck I may not have been so burned out on OTR trucking. Not being able to sleep in the daytime really screwed up some night stuff....
