Ruger ... you can pick from any available truck at any terminal ... IEL can arrange to have you dispatched there or they will pay you up to $350 for you to fly there and pick it up.

I got my first truck out of SLC. IEL sent me detailed pictures. I took it on faith, since it was still under warranty. Signed the papers in Sumner, then was dispatched through Sac to pick up my gear, then to SLC.

Second truck was out of PHX. Got dispatched there once to check the truck out, gave them a punch list. Then came back later to pick it up and sign the papers when the lease expired on my first truck.

Laramie, high wind advisory for light loads on Elk mountain, decided to spend the night here and go over in the daylight. Drop in SLC tomorrow.

I went through there last night, the signs saying 45 mile per hour gusts. I have 28,000 pounds of product in the trailer so I was a little nervous. Made it to Fort Bridger for the break, now in Nevada just a hop and skip from home. I was surprised that the flock of gooses are still there in Fort Bridger this winter. It gets down to about 2 degrees at night. I fed them the rest of my loaf of bread and all my crackers.

Yeah my webasto is trying to crap out, but it's only 12* ... yeah scottie, I'm only 9K in the box, have til midnight to to deliver, saw no reason to push over in the dark.

Ruger, you should be eligible to lease right away, they'll count your Swift time plus your experience since then, the only issue may be down payment ... when coming from the outside you have to pay it up front or run for 4 weeks at 2500 miles a week as company or as a second seat with a O/O - which is what I did. Also one of the reasons I took a used truck, they were running a special, no down payment.

    Parked outside the Denver terminal.

Unloaded in Cheyenne Wed morning. Ended up running a Sam's Club load from Loveland, CO to Casper, WY on Thursday with a pallet load (from the Sam's Club) back to Aurora, CO that I delivered Fri morning.

Took a K-Mart load that picks of later this morning headed for Kalispell and Hamilton, MT, delivers Mon.

Time enough on this load for a 34, but I'm not yet sure where I'll take it.
