While it isn't Florida, this covers the basics. Plus go to a Florida DMV and get the manual or look it up on Florida.gov.
The main things are going to be Overage, Surge, Baffles/Bulkheads, Food etc. (Again, I can't say exactly what Florida states, but there is the federal standard, and Florida can add to it, but not take away. The manual whether online, or from the DMV will cover the state specifics.)

Use this site and take the tanker test until you ace it. While this tanker test isn't geared specifically to Florida, the information is the same. Good luck. -
You really should just get a cdl manual from your DMV and study for your tankers endorsement. All those test are is questions and answers. They are excellent to refer to after you study but to try and study from online test, sorry to say you'll fail.

Or you will get 100% of the questions right. The tanker endorsement is pretty cut and dry. It's not rocket science by any means. Take the online test, as long as you get a understanding of overage, surging, baffles/bulkheads, and what tankers cannot have baffles, you will pass with no problem.RickG Thanks this.

I studied for the hazmat test using the tests on this site and passed . If they can prepare you for the hazmat I'm sure they will sufficiently prepare you for the tanker . http://www.thetruckersreport.com/cdl-practice-tests/tank/

I just took the online tanker test on this website, and I think it is excellent, as it shows you the incorrect responses at the end of the test. As well as giving you an excellent idea of what you will be asked on the DOT test. By the way I got 19 out of 20, so I guess I get to keep my endorsement!!!!

That's exactly how I did it coming back to the industry and never having driven tank before coming back.
