Hey retired.....one of my trainers from Georgetown had his truck broken into at that Microtel! He was talking about it on Facebook. Said his student saw it happen and went out there, but they were gone. Kinda sounds 'fishy' doesn't it? Anyhows, he bought a brand new gps and had a portable tv/dvd player in the sleeper for him and students to watch on their separate breaks...that's mostly what got stolen. What gets me is, you know that Microtel was pretty well lit at night. Doesn't seem like someone would break into something there...but then again that hotel in Vandalia is pretty well lit as well....except for the road from the hotel to the super subby place.

shoot fellas....its dayton. Plus , if im not mistaken, Vandalia was one of the lucky cities that got a bunch of the old Parkside Projects tennants. They tore down the projects...moved all the people to different cities...and crime in those cites rose sharply afterwards. SMH!
