Hey, does "Old School" trucking at it's best mean,

    Having a very fast truck?
Running 2, 3, or more log books?
Knowing every single back woods road around every scale because you're never "right" ?
Or all of the these things and more?

No thanks! Been there, done that, and NEVER got caught !

That sounds like it defeats the purpose of hands free. Or do you not have to push the button everytime you want to talk.

Can ypu just have it hanging on a lanyard by you then or do you need it up to your mouth.

I love my blue parrot but I use it more when in, around or working on tractors and equipment. I was looking at getting a radio with external mic for our newer KW. Then not everybody has to have or wear a headset. Or remember it either. Also would'nt mind having a remote for the radio since its not the easiest to reach.

You only push the blue button to answer or hang up. While in a phone conversation, no buttons are pushed to talk. It is a noise cancelling mic, so best results are to hold it in front of your mouth, to be heard clearly.

    Taildragon and RedForeman Thank this.

The cobra blue tooth radios are sweet. The ones I have in our Kenworths came with external hands-free phone mics. So We ran the mics up through the trim and attached the mics above the driver seat. The kenworths have built in cb speakers by the driver door. All you do is hit the blue button on the mic to answer and talk once done hit the blue button again to hang up. No headset and you don't use the cb mic.

Kinda what i figured. I just ordered a radio with bluetooth and external speaker since I didnt want to buy anothe CB and like that the radio will override the radio when a call comes.
