You have my sympathy! That is the most rudest, unkindest WMDC in the universe. Don't think they are outside of the universe at this moment, but that could change. Hope they don't detain you too long.

 

Well, thanks to all who do care. Unfortunately, there is no cure. This treatment (still in a third phase, five year study) is the latest and greatest injection type drug. Not sure what came first, but I think it goes: enbrara, humera, stellara.....and now what I am involved within. One of the main causes or instigators of psoriasis is your immune system goes to war thinking it is fighting the mother of all invasions. So it starts your body creating skin cells in 3 to 5 days, what normally would take up to 30 days. Hence, all the flaking. It also inolves, itching, aching, bleeding and pains of all sorts, including psoriatic arthritis (Phil Mikelson, the golfer has this). So, lifetime treatment. I participated in the final 5 year phase that led to the approval of Stellara. It too was a wonder drug, but here is the catch. The quarterly shots cost $5000 each. You get one shot if you weigh less than 200#, two if over. I am one shot, but insurance would only pay about $2000. That would be $12,000 per annum out of pocket. So, in lieu thereof, I signed up for the next 5 year study of this new drug, which is even better. It is free, and I should receive a small sum for my travel. It is about 50 miles to the lab, but well worth the outcome. I would not wish psoriasis on anyone, but it won't kill like cancer.

Airline repaired? Two of em merged last week....or started the "merging" process.....I never thought that to be the same as "re-paired"....after all....they were separate before!

So...if Hammer and Flo took another "road trip" together....would that also be "re-paired", or would that be "merged"?
