Oh yea I'm good on the bill paying. if not I would have switched up long ago. I didnt want to do the whole trying to learn a new system and have to endure winter at the same time. Haveing said that I also don't want to wait so long that I'm trying to get back in the swing of flatbedding and its already gotten hot here in the sunny south. rather get back into it and back in shape before that happens. Also having my truck paid off wwill help ease the mind while learning the system.

Do as you please, but just know that you have been warned. I'm not saying Mercer is a horrible place, because its not, or I wouldn't still be here, but rates are not what you might expect, you wll be at a big disadvantage coming over now not nowing how to make the system work for you, even those of us who have been here for a little while are finding it much more difficult to make what we are accustomed to. It would be in your best interest to wait until things pick up.

I appreciate the honesty. I make my last payment on ol red in 3 weeks, after that i figure a few weeks to get my but in gear plus a week to get over the hangover following the drunk Im gonna pitch to celebrate. lol. As much as I would really like it to be next week realistically we are talking end of March or early April at best. Things are pretty tough all over right now. I got offered a load today out of Mobile Al up to Gary In. that only paid 1.15 to the truck. Needless to say I'm still in Mobile.

If you wait to the end of March or early April then you should be good to go then. If things don't get better with freight by then I will sell my truck and trailer and just go fishing for a living.

I tried fishing for a living once. It got to be too much like a job so I quit.
