Lowered expectations... they all used to wanna make a million, the first week! LOL!!

 

Sorry to read that.... I used to make between $100 and $200 dollars a day when I was cleaning houses.... But I TOTALLY HATED that business... Now trucking, I could do it for free if I didn't need money. Hope your week gets better.

 

I am at the truck stop where I have been now for the very best part of 4 hours.
Texts have been traded. But no dispatch so far today.

I'm just a wee bit annoyed......

been home for only the second time since hurricane sandy
after 1 month all the beach roads were still closed
now 3 1/2 months later still over 200 houses need to be knocked down

thosands damaged never seen anything like it

one little spot called ortley beach 2600 homes only 60 habitable

 

Now I am here...



In the Driver's Lounge of a truck stop. Gotta do some online business... Taking my 34 reset before my p/up on Thursday about 15 mins from here and this is a perfect place for it.

Drove today on that US-421 in KY and VA... Some parts of it didn't look like it was for big trucks... Hill with very narrow road and very sharp curves... but beautiful scenery. Thankful I did not encounter much traffic and only one other truck. Those curves where so sharp and so narrow that two trucks would not have enough room to pass by each other on a curve....
