Change of plans... Heading to Phoenix now with a hot load. Have to be there asap before the customer runs out of product. The other driver available is not trained on unloading, so guess who gets it. Fine with me because it's roughly the same miles, I'll get unloading pay, and I'll get home sooner Saturday.

I'm in Denton, TX, delivering up the road to Sam's in the morning.

We finally closed on our house yesterday, and wifey is moving in today. I had to execute a Power of Attorney so my wife could sign all the papers since I burned my week of vacation for nothing. Nice.

Crete has been keeping me reasonably busy, and given the current freight climate that I'm hearing about, that's a good thing.

 

Parked @ the casino just outside St. Louis. Looking at the 8" of snow on the ground around my truck and thinking about going inside to grab more coffee.

 

Would that be the one in St. Charles? Maybe the one on the south side of the Might Mo? Was born and raised less than a mile from those 2 "Riverboat Casinos" Buenos suerte at the games!

 

It's the old Harrah's (now the Hollywood) in Maryland Heights.

Nah, they're riding around in Bobcats with snow pushers and rotary brushes. And they're ignoring the truck parking. I guess they assume that we're not going anywhere for a while. Or that we can fend for ourselves.
