What does "CBD" stand for under Load Details on the Contractor Web?

 

Call before dispatch. Normally on those loads the shipper sends out the same loads to several carriers, whoever covers it first gets it, so they always have to call the shipper before dispatching you on it to make sure they still have the load.

Hey, do you write down your miles on a note pad? If not , i think you should. I would not go by how many miles on logs. Even though i have a software to track all my miles and expenses. I still write everything down and i mean everything. If you already doing this disregard message.

 

That guy asking about the sign on bonus the balance after the 1st 500 is suppose to be paid at 200 a month after i didnt get the 200 the first month i asked why and was told you had to do over 7500 in rev for the month. ok next month did over 7500 and no payment called again and was told had to do 7500 before any fuel surcharges nice aint it! so like the other guy said wer probably never gonna see the rest. but hey dont forget go mercer!!!!

 

KMX, I just don't get it. You keep saying your unhappy and your leaving but keep on coming back. Also sure seem to know alot about Mercer but how long have you been here? Have you really gotten to know the system, have you really been through the down times and up times.How long have you given it a chance.
I don't mean to be rude but if it's so bad, why have you not left and please tell us about the better company. I realize mercer has their problems and it is really slow right now with lousy freight rates. But if the other companies are so doing so much better, how come you ain't over there.

Far as a sign on bonus, I've gotten two recruitment bonuses and know of some that have gotten their sign on bonus.
Did you come over here primarly for the sign on bonus? When I and several others hired on, there was no sign on bonus.


Maybe I'm drinking to much Mercer koolaid but it's so good and sweet.

 

I honestly don't care what you do, or how you do it. But don't come on here crying because you can't make it. Move on and be done with it

 

Soooo, when's this happening. PLEASE, enlighten us, sans the loquacious lament.

 

I know it's been a long time since I read my lease contract with Mercer, but with most lease contracts, one is not legal allowed to leave and pull for a customer of the previous carrier for one year. I think that would fall under stealing customers.
KMX, I'm not saying you can't get by with it, and Mercer probably isn't gona sue you, but if things were turned around, would you care if a contractor came in, work a month or two and then left taking a customer.


It must be that Mercer koolaid getting to me again. Gosh I gotta lay off it for awhile. Or atleast till I get some more.
