no your wrong again oscar kmx likes it here very nice people, nice settlement system, kmxs problem is he runs his #### off and at the end of the day goes home with not alot of settelment left thats my only complaint, and oh ya sometimes alot of deadhead. my only advice is if you come here try not to get into them for alot of money, ie: trailer, equipment, and so on they will definitely get it back out of you in a timely fashion that benefits them not you. which in return leaves you with measely settelments. so yes will will kick butt with your gross number but your actual take home will leave a little bit to be desired. and again everyone understands that this is stuff that needs to be paid back but its kinda hard to survive here until it is. the only other complaint kmx has is alot of the freight i have hauled wasnt mercers, there was always a third party involved example: broker, third party logistics co and i came hereto try to lessen the hands in the pot not add so thats kinda of a letdown. I assumed mercers ben around so long they would have more lets say in house freight but to me it dosent seem that way which explains the sub par rates. if your thinking of pulling a van my advice would be stay away some of those guys ive ben talking to confess they pull alot of ch robinson junk, allan lund etc, and the rates would be even worse once it trickles down to you. but other than that my experience here has ben good and i really wish it would pan out, every contractor i talk to says stick it out it gets better but financially i dont think i can

And now it all comes down to an inspection that needed to be done in Louisville, that he mismanaged his time and resources to get done in a timely fashion. There are no secrets here when it comes to truck inspections, every sixth month you need to have one, and one of them (annually) is required to be done in Louisville, you have a thirty day window before the inspection day that you can go in and get it done. Some like to push the envelope, and when Mercer gets nasty about it then they are the bad guys because you couldn't plan properly. This guy is still not making any sense. And for the record I am not pm'ing anyone trying to get a recruiting bonus, never will, I don't need the money from one, I for one think it is wrong to blow smoke up someones back side just to make a few extra bucks, and if I am lying about that then there are several guys on here that will set the record straight.

I don't even know why Mercer gets involved in borrowing money to contractors for securement equipment, all it does is lead to headaches and heartaches. I am not saying you are thinking this way but, I swear some people think they should make a five year loan interest free for a measley $2-3000. It is my OPINION that if you cannot afford to purchase these things outright before signing on then you need to stick to slamming doors. The trailers are a different story, and one can be purchased outside of Mercer that is of better quality for less money. But the fact remains that all of this is outlined in your lease, with the payments per week that will be deducted from settlements, so to cry wolf now is a little to late.

That's the way I see it too. Mercer spells everything out before you sign the lease. Mercer has lot's of rules you have to follow them or your gone.
