I did not feel bad looking at all the empty flats and drops, tooled in and got fuel and the rain room with 32k in the box loaded.

Sitting in lovely Santa Rosa, CA after offloading cold storage insulation panels. Waiting game on dispatch finding a load now!

Well, was informed that my run has been pushed out till next week. Starting to wonder if it will ever get going at this point....
Booked some OD to KY for tomorrow and then grabbing a load back up to WI -
sitting in south jordan utah my address turned out to be a power pole in the middle of nowhere one some little back road in between 2 fields no one is answering the contact number and broker asked " are u sure they're not there? thats the only adress we have for the place" my response "unless they're out tanning over by the tumble weeds and they're forklift is in the shape of a dead tree, I'm gonna have to say that this is the wrong address"
as for the tarp it made it here but by no means is the back savable. i had to cut the back off with a knife borrowed from the ever so kind wyoming state trooper who was ever so nice to supervise me and make sure i didnt get run over as i was doing this on the side of the road instead of the sinclairs that was .5 miles up the road where i originally planned to stop.... but all in all he was a decent guy let me go with out a problem and actually pointed out a brand new set of tire chains that were laying on the ground about 50 ft away from my truck that some seemed to lose i have claimed these as my own till i get back to the shop.aiwiron, MJ1657, SHC and 1 other person Thank this. -

Day 4...Still sitting at Big Charley's

Picking up a load down the street going to Nebraska with a boom-a-rang to Northern New Jersey. Looks like I'll be busy this weekend. Going to bug the powers that be to put a EZ Pass on this truck. I'm going to run the length of PA I80. Paying tolls out of my pocket makes me moody. -

Enjoy your time home..
leftlanetruckin Thanks this. -
Does Mercer pay for your tolls???
Most places just have you get a toll transponder yourself. At LS you have to get your own or pay cash, but they don;y cover any tolls unless you get the agent to work it into the rate.
And just so you know, if you go thru IL on this trip, you can stop in at a toll plaza and buy an I-Pass (same as ezpass) right there on the spot. the belevidere plaza is the easiest oneMJ1657 Thanks this.
