I did a load of wire stuff one time can't remember the town but it was up that way it was at a dead end, they half way loaded me out side than I pulled inside and ended up unloading it and starting all over took 8 hours also it was 9pm before I pulled out. they also wanted it trapped I told them if the covered it first I would than tarp it,ended up not tarping it at all
I run a 3pc set of tarps 24x30 with 4 D-rings they make 8 or 10ft drops I paid over $1,100 for this set and if someone wants me to use them your paying. last broker I told him $150 a tarp he told me get real and hung up on me, I'm not using them for free to move there load. I also have a 3pc set of 16x20s I don't mind using them there light and easy to use!!

So when they tell you the load needs a 4' drop tarp, and you get to the shipper and it needs a 8' drop tarp that's ok? Can you refuse the load if your lied to about the specs of the load ? Even thought you have already deadheaded to the shipper, I'm just miserable enough to tell them to keep their load....... LOL

Sounds nasty. I hauled that load out of Cargill Steel in Memphis all the way to Phoenix. I still break out in hives everytime I pass that plant.
Everytime I stopped all the way to Phoenix, I asked myself...What were you thinking dumb a#%... LOL -
well actually my case is a little different. All I carry is 8' drop lumber tarps. so to me I would just as soon tarp 8' then 2' and have to tuck it all up. but I still use it as a barganing chip. they don't know that's all I carry

give it up , junior . your comments show your kind of person. looking back, how could you have done something different to make things have worked out differently. and no one ever said you were fired, you said you quit cause you wouldnt inspect your truck. -
greasy bars on a step deck would be fine , up against the step makes a fine bulkhead, they go forward not sideways.SHC Thanks this.

I've hauled chain link fence before. Besides it smooshing down, it was not that bad of a load. I have no idea why they had you tarp it tho. This stuff spends the next 100 years outside anyways. I've never seen a fence load tarped. Sounds like a broker sold them on some extra service and it wound up costing you more. That sucks !!!

I was told they only have one customer that doesn't get tarped. I couldn't figure it out either. they laid plastic on the deck of the trl too and once loaded pulled the plastic 4" up the side
