I had a real "transshipment scam" going for a couple of weeks two years ago. Pick up blueberries in NJ, haul 'em to MA. Pick up blueberries in MA, haul 'em to MI. Pick up blueberries in MI, haul 'em to NJ. Rinse 'n repeat!

 

Ever dropped your product at a warehouse, then got reloaded with the same product at the same warehouse the same day?

Childress TX Wal-Mart, just getting up and going to waste some time. I don't want to get to Austin too early because they might not have an empty trailer for me. Best case, I can drop and hook tonight and get home tomorrow. Worst case, get home Saturday.

Hey 48Packard, last Tuesday there were a few 4 wheelers and one pulling a RV on the ditch on I-80 in IA... or was it NE? Gosh, can't remember any more... There were some icy spots on the right lane...
No internet signal in ID where I was last evening. Driving since 5 am east time today. Now I am in OR. Found me a good spot...




This truck stop looks like an old fashion hospitality place...



Several inns... one with indoor pool... I think PeteTransam would like it here... Several fast food places and restaurants.... I parked at this truck stop once in the winter, when the roads were packed with snow and ice... And use of chains was mandatory but my company doesn't allow us to use them and I had no intention of chaining at all.... So, I parked right here for about 24 hrs.
