Anybody see the report that GPS training will be require of entry level CDL holders now? Thanks to too many low-bridge strikes in/around NYC. Big Brother, Bigger Government?

As we've all been looking at lower and lower rates this season, the idea of paying good drivers decent money and keeping experience in the industry just doesn't resonate with the people in power.

That's not getting you home though is it? Usually freight in Buffalo, may have to wait a day sometimes, but yeah, heavy and low usually, plus tarp.

I booked a load from the east coast going 1500 miles to the midwest. There was a return load going back to the east coast the next day. I preplanned this Monday. I never saw it on my dispatched load panel. I reminded my coordinator 4 times since Monday and he kept giving me a excuse as to why it wasn't showing up.

Those 4 loads were showing on the board since Thursday of last week.

I talked to my coordinator at 4pm today, and he mentions that the 4 loads had been given to other drivers that were in the area. Not my problem as I preplanned my trip. There are no loads until Monday. The load my coordinator booked pays a whopping $1.52 to Indy. The other loads paid $1.92 and needed no tarp.

I am pissed. Talked to contractor relations at 4:30. Lets see how this turns out.

contractor relations???? My boot is contractor relations. lmfao. .

my girl dropped the ball on two things. First thing is the load last fri from NJ to chicago was booked on thursday. I should have had a loadout of chi monday booked on friday but I didn't, she didn't look untill monday it at that point it's just junk left.

the second thing today is what really has me mad. She forgot that she works for me, I don't work for her. I absolutely will not explain my decisions to them.

oh and craigslist deleted my ad today. I had to repost it. I hate that anyone can flag an add on there and they delete it
