I'm out of Fargo and we are required to idle at 0º and below. A little fuel is cheaper than a gelled up truck.

Do you have a Detroit? I don't know about other engines, but the Detroits are aggressive about circulating the fuel back through the returns and keeping it hot.

Actually, I saw it more often with the Cummins....this Cascadia with the DD13 has the tank opening set back and tucked behind the fairings....can't see it that well when I "pop the top" so to speak.

Im at home for today, got a load out tommorow going to Samoa California.
Had the house to myself, my girls at a conference in Seattle with her school class. I made a big pot of soup for her and did grocery shopping so shes all stocked up for when she gets home. I cant believe the price of lunch meat at the store! So I bought a cheap beef roast and cooked it then sliced it up for her to make sandwiches with. It was only $7 for the roast and it got alot of slices, much more economical way instead of paying big dollars for lunch meat at the deli counter. The price of food is getting out of control I think. Bread is nearly $5 a loaf and the price of meat is getting more and more it seems. I try to find economical ways to save. I buy a whole chicken then cut it up into pieces instead of buying pre packaged cuts. Produce is still relatively affordable but everything else just seems to get more expensive each time i go to the store!
The snows gone today and the sun is shining so hopefully ive got nice weather for heading out tommorow.
