thats why people have tried to tell him cpape, he somehow thinks he did something tremendous getting 850 for that load.
the lease op got the appropriate amount for them being on a 75 per cent lease, they have no authority, paid no operating insurance, and with mercer no ifta taxes either.
i fail to understand his point in all this , what should they have gotten 850 like him.
i think i have a good understanding of why this joker is at the spot he is. he doesnt know apples from oranges.
as i said i saw the loads, i knew what they paid.
the missing part is those guys will reload somewhere and go on about their business, while he deadheads back to beaumont 163 miles, thus making it a 326 mile load for 850 dollars theyre at 630 for 163 who is really better off?

and thats his choice , and what makes him happy. so whats your point?
-
Ya your right I'm just showing the difference between the two! If you did $220 a day more than a leased driver that would pay my insurance in just a few days....
-
again, your point?? they got exactly what they should have being a lease op at 75 per cent comparing to you with authority etc etc.
the more you talk, the less you seem to know. -
yeah, if so then why have you been griping about things so much??? its is because you aint making 220 more a day than a lease driver on a consistent basis .
-
wrong again I pick up just 3 miles down the road going back to Beaumont for $675 20 pallets easy no tarp strap and go.
What's funny is out of the 4 mercer trucks here that I've spent the last five hours with you are the only driver I talk to that is making any money, one guy has been on the road for 6 weeks and has been bringing in $3,300 a week on average. Not sure why your the only one that's making money when all the other drivers are not happy. One said he has been in Baytown all week dropped Monday and just wanted to get the hell out of there
My point is why are you giving up 25% of your money and don't give me that line about ifta I have never paid in more than $32 most quarters I have a credit had almost $400 one time before they sent me a check DOT regs? What's hard about that do some up keep on your truck. It takes less than five min to bill someone for a run is that to hard for you?
I'm sorry you need someone to hold your hand....I don't!!! -
No I'm not #####en not sure were you get that from all I'm saying is a big company with as many trucks as mercer should have better paying freight than they do. The more trucks you have the more ground you have to stand on when someone has a load the call xyz trucking because they always have a truck open instead of calling me and telling them I'm out of town until a few more days
-
Well you are a little misinformed on this as it has been stated over and over that Mercer guys have to deadhead way too much in order to grab another load. Unless of course they take some cheap ### freight or they sit for a week trying to find something worth while. Alot of Mercer guys on this very forum have stated these same statements.

So, who do we beleive? Does it matter? For the last 6 mo, this thread has been bashing Mercer. Its getting old, every post is saying the same thing. If you are happy stay if not leave. What happen to all the one hit wonders? Were are they working at now?
