Where are you

It might look like dinner but sure doesn't taste like it!

Im sitting at the MHC Kenworth in Olathe. Joy. Three days in a row I havr parked my truck at night and when I start the truck in the morning, the air tanks are drained almost completely. Having that addressed while its still under the new truck warranty before I get stuck in the middle of nowhere with a big problem.

 

Well... what I generally do, I get the response to my email from one dept and forward it with my comments to the other dept... Communication is key...
Well... when I went to bed it was 10F but when I woke up at 4 am it was in the single digit... the most painful is to get out of the blankets... brrrrrrr.... and it takes more than 30 mins to warm up inside truck...

 

Never got into single digits but my trucks with PAM never idled so even in teens life was cold.

Rolled in 19:45. Ended an 8 delivery ticket day with a smidge over 9K pounds.
Have a morning assignment at a place I'd just as soon not go to!

 

Spring? Where? Not where I was this morning. Did a good backing today... Manager of this business drew me a map and gave me instructions on how to enter his yard and how to back onto the dock. It was a very, very narrow street and the gate wasn't large either. It was snowing and the ground all covered with snow made it hard to know what was underneath. I slid my tandems forward, walked around rubbing my feet on the ground, checking what was underneath and did everthing very, very slowly and carefully. Guys came outside to watch me entering the yard. I didn't ask for any spotter or any help. It took me several pull ups to get the right angle with the dock but at the end, dock guy told me I did better than most men... WOW!! Don't know if he was just trying to please me, but it made my day... After backed onto the dock, this is the entrance gate to the yard.... I wonder how many may have rubbed against that brick wall, trying to avoid hitting the entrance gate...



All the room I had in front... didn't go beyond those concrete blocks on the ground cause there was soft dirt and grass and debris underneath and I was afraid of getting stuck or damaging the tires... The dock was in an angle, the wall was curved... so the manager told me to face that corner in front to get the right angle...



Well, at least my second place was much, MUCH easier....



Now at a rest area in WV... going to NC and then.... FLORIDA!! Hope to see some spring there...

Ok here goes yall gonna here sumthin from me u may ain't NEVER HEARD ME SAY--so pay attention prolly b a while 4 I say sumthin like this again--I am having a God Blessed Horrible day/nite! Last couple of days little goofier than regular 2 nite drops 3 day drops yadda yadda--nothin' new--lay down in door @7am can't sleep--loaded done by noon--FINE ILL GO get scaled splash some gas get a bath--don't wanna do ####!--and got time ain't gotta b NYC till mon 6am--its only noon thur--so anyway ride out to Ganado-)figure chill eat recover get good nite sleep easy ride fri-sun just La-Te-Da
Lay down Ganado flop around like a #### flounder on deck 4 a few hrs--so #### it--clean up square away paperwork and ride somemore--WTF can't dance rite?
Now in Iowa La--wore out don't wanna trk no mo and still CANT GET TO SLEEP--Haven't felt this way in prolly 20 it more years when i was all clucked up and no where to truck(believe some of the crustys will get it LMAO
This keeps up--my right hand gonna get real tired--course if thus does continue I'll b home 4 supper 2moro w/an unexpected Sunday off---course I'll prolly spend it in bed--alone so anyway just thought I'd throw that out that even us that have it all figured out and just go thru the motions mostly--still get beat LOL

Well, that all depends on if the assistant restaurant manager has another special cold. She likes to add her own "special" ingredient to your food via nasal aerosol delivery. Needless to say, after the last Robetussin-aided recovery, the nearest fastfood burger joint gets my money these days.

Pete... don't tell me you're chillin' in that pit-infested, dirt excuse up at the dead cow emporium? At least go down the street to the WallyWorld, and indulge in some Ft Morgan-girl watchin'!
