Hi my name is Dustin. 26 yrs old. Have a g.e.d and squeaky clean driving record.
I do not have a cdl. I contacted usa trucking, stevens, and everyone is requiring a 3 yr steady work history in order to
put me through company paid schooling. I dont have the history. Nor do I have the money to
put myself through school.im desperate. Ive worked but not 3 straight years. No tax returns.
What can I do!? I have a wife and 3 children! Id be happy with any company that will train me. Swift, jb hunt, werner etc etc

Up until recently we have not had a vehicle due to economy. I was self employed but barely made ends meet. Not even enough to file taxes. So I dont have tax returns.

CLICK HERE for a list of trucking companies that hire new drivers.

Are you a military veteran? If so, sometimes Goodwill Industries pays for trucking school.
Apply through the unemployment office or local dept. of labor for free CDL school.

For trucking company paid schooling, you will need a notorized letter/affidavit signed by family member or neighbor that you were unemployed for those periods of time and either looking for work or doing odd jobs/handyman work. The two cheapest out of pocket money are Prime and Central Refrigerated.

Another option is to apply to household moving companies as a helper. Major household moving companies also have agents that hire; you can find all this in the yellow pages. Here is a list some, not all:

    Household Movers (bedbuggers)

    NAVL
    Bekins - bekinsA1jobs
    United Van Lines
    Wheaton World Wide
    Allied Van Lines
    Mayflower Transit
    Atlas Van Lines
    Graebel Van Lines
    Global Van Lines
    Corrigan Moving Systems
