I will be in my garage. Cutting into things. I'm qualified....I just bought a pair of saw horses.

Putting in a cat door (yes, a cat door), the intention being that we will put the litter boxes in the garage and not in the living space.

I will be using a jigsaw, drill, and hacksaw.

If you never hear from me again, please do NOT sing "Muskrat Love" or "Feelings" at my funeral. "Night Fever" is acceptable. Thank you very much.

At the same truck stop I was yesterday here in FL getting my reset. Thermometer shows temp is 94F but it doesn't feel that hot (for me). It's cloudy, very windy... looks like it's going to rain sometime today... good, so truck will get "washed" a little... Two p/ups tomorrow in FL, then stop in GA for grease job and head to NC for drop & hook. Gotta go do my cooking now and then finish doing my paper log...

 

Don't forget, "Hard Hats, Safety glasses and Steel toe shoes are required." OOPS, hearing protection and breathing apparatus too!

 

Drills and Hacksaws are safe enough....

But Jigsaws are not for ninnies....

Ironically, since I want to be like my hero Pete, I am at the Tomahawk in Watkins. Just a cafe, no bar so there will be no impromptu karaoke tonight.

Interesting drive in from Kansas but could've been a lot worse.

 

Cat door installed.

No blood, no trips, no errors. Although at the final tightening, it did manage to become slightly askew. But all my digits are intact, along with my pride.

Me go kill buffalo for dinner now.
