Testing....testing...is this thing on?...got my newest refirb smartphone. It seems to run ok, but it still has the glitches with the typing keeping up and the error correction issue. But...it's lightening in a case compared to the old one, although a bit smaller screen makes typing tougher with these pudgy fingers of mine. But hopefully I can keep this one running more than a couple weeks so I can keep up over here better.

I usually avoid calling the customers myself because I got chewed out for doing that. 8 times out of 10 when I ask dispatch (i guess really the CSR) to try and get an earlier appointment, they either never get back to me or give me the standard "sorry but that is the only appointment available". This time I had a sneaking suspicion about their response, so I called the customer immediately after ny AM said "sorry, they don't have anything else". The customer was very nice and instantly gave me an appointment 7 hours earlier than the original one. I wanted so bad to call my AM and let her know, but no doubt she would have retaliated.

maybe a note to the ops mgr would be ok

Unless it specifically states in the load instuctions on the Q-Comm "do not deliver early or must deliver on date shown in Qcomm", I will call the customer and start by asking if they have anywhere to park overnight. Regardless of their answer I will then proceed to tell them how early I expect to be there and ask them if they can get me in early. I've never had ANY problems doing this from dipspatch or the customer.Ralph4159 and FFE Driver Thank this.

Can a shimmy be caused by an engine problem or is it almost always alignment? I haven't bumped any curbs or anything but within the last few days when I have a heavy load and am accelerating, around 59 mph my truck wobbles like crazy (ie if you look at the hood mirrors, they bounce back and forth). Then it all smooths out past 60 mph. I wonder what is going on.

Most likely an alignment problem. I'm guessing your steer tires are worn on the edges. Take a close look at your steer tires. Pay attention to the inside and outside edges. They should have some worn areas which are so bad the tires are now out of balance. Look all the way around the tires and you should see some wear. It will just keep getting worse. Sure sign of alignment problem. Hope that helps. Good luck with it.Ralph4159 Thanks this.

check that last button on the side of the seat, the one that alternates the various lumber bags. If pushed in it will continue it's cycle of bag inflation.Bigdubber Thanks this.
