I will haul any of them. What ever pays more. Usually get the better pay out of the large bridge layers/wreckers because they are heavy and have to go on stepdeck. I do very well when they go to a reserve base and needs ramps to unload.
-
I dont know if i have seen the tankers on the board. I have hauled many there and also trailers to ft knox and a few other places. I try to get the small 19k lb trucks and trailers since the rate is the same as the big hemet

They have those to DC that need ramps, pays good. I loved hauling that military stuff even if it meant going to red riverherfinharry Thanks this.

I'm hoping to get one out of Fort Bragg next week. I usually do pretty good out of there also. Hauled some Iraq trucks out of there last time. Which had to be tarped and had to use ramps so I got premium pay for that. Kinda weird when I have to tarp vehicles. But they never want anyone to see weird vehicles being hauled in or out of Milatary bases. Also have to tarp any with bullet holes.

I don't care for Red River anymore because the last 3 times there it took several hours to get loaded, because of the line and slow loading. And try and get any detention out of the milatary. Besides there your supposed to turn in all electronic equipment before entering the base. Like laptops and any camers including your cell if it has a camera.

The last time I went to OshKosh, I was sitting at the truck stop wondering why that big 8x8 was sitting crooked on the stepdeck on the other parking across the road. Turns out the driver of the truck wanted the 8x8 to ride backwards on his step. So he took it on himself to unchain, roll the truck backwards off his step on his ramps, then try to BACK that big truck on his step. The left front tire fell off the trailer and a big crane had to be called in to correct the situation.
I don't think that driver will be invited to return

But bullet holes give the trucks personality
