After I left Roehl, I went to ATS for 6 months, then I found a local job hauling milk, did that for a year and now I work for Conway.

I loved it there great people, great equipment, super good pay, I would recommend it to anybody but you have to stay out at least 3 weeks and you should have alot of flatbed exp when you get there trainings not very good, but you will make money if your willing to work.

Okay we are done here at RDTC, what a great experience, and I have to give my trainer Kevin A+++. Very good school but like I said this is fast pace. I'll recommend this school. I'll start a new thread about my experience with Roehl.

Glad you had a good experience guys. Agree that Kevin is a great instructor -- there are often times when I'm in the middle of traffic, making a tight turn, etc. that I hear Kevin's voice in my head warning me what to watch out for. The company is fortunate to have him.

I had Dale for a trainer. He was pretty much bored when I drove. Guess he was glad he didn't have to yell at me.

Dale had the other truck when I was at RDTC; the only time I had him in the passenger seat was on CDL test practice day. I heard from OSU and goblue that he's a character though -- sometimes likes to take his truck on extended trips out in the country :)

I had dale. As the story goes..he was driver #13 for Roehl. I think he did a great job with our group. He has a lot of knowledge and patience. One thing im still getting better at is relaxing..i think its easier to drive relaxed. My otr trainer stressed this too. I did not have any bad experiences with anyone at rdtc.

I too fought with the whole relaxed thing and know I'll need to work on it when I get out with my trainer. Have you developed any methods to help get relaxed?
