it was her grandmother on her dads side of the family in fact I never meet her, now if it was her parents or brother than no I would have never left.....in fact Motiva paid for my 632 in my race truck in one month I got a check for $34,k, and now there the largest oil refinery so I'll keep kissing there rear. They can call me at 10pm or 3am and I'm going to answer the phone every time they call they say "we call Ace and Acme 3 hours ago and never called us back" or the truck still hasn't showed up. When they call they always say if I can beat there driver out there loads mine 99% of the time I do is that worth $3.50/mi plus FS and $100 for after hours sure is!

I get told all the time I'm high on my prices but just like a customer told me this weekend his boss said why are we paying this guy more than everyone else is charging he said "When I need something done I make one call and it's done" also told his boss how I've dropped off a dozer one night 3am and left it running with the heater on and a cup of fresh coffee in it.....yes I did do that! It's a fact I get it done!!

 

at the end of the week if I can bring in $6,000 on 3,000 miles I'd rather do that than $3,000 on 1,500 miles now if I can do $4,500 on 2,000 miles I'm even better. If your running for a flat rate I say miles miles and more miles the better but when your on a spot market more money with less miles wins!!

Long Island was easy. I'd do it again, but the rate needs to be better to compensate me for deadheading out of the city as well as a NYC surcharge

After we left, the talkative guy left soon afterwards. He had nobody else to listen to him lol

I Deadheaded to the Bloomsbury T/A on the 78 last night. Plenty of parking if you're not afraid to blindside into a parking spot

skateboardman, tried to PM you but mailbox is full! I'm five miles from the Petro and heading over there to pick up something, was going to see if you were around.

 

Long Island usually doesn't get the surcharge since it is not NYC proper. Even though there is no way to get there without going through NYC. But if you go in from the bottom (Staten Island) and out through the top (GW) the tolls are minimized.

 

Let's call it a "Blind Driver surcharge because I have to put up with idiots tax"
