Snowville UT at the J in an actual parking spot

I'm between two refers, but I don't care. I didn't have to get "creative" for parking.

I was thinking I was going to be on the ramp myself. I was actually shocked to find a space.

Rocks, I have never been OTR so correct me if I am wrong ok. Everything you posted about was done without any compensation to you correct? Having to do a 34 reset when you haven't used up your 70 seems to me another advantage to the company...frequent 34 resets would be a huge red flag, especially for a driver like you. Your always prepared, thinking ahead, and professional I sure hope you find a better fit for yourself in your next company. I realize you have to take the good with the bad blah blah blah but "34 hour reset" seems to nice a term when it is due to company incompetence. Have a good day.CertifiedSweetie, Rocks and Hammer166 Thank this.

How's this for solitude ROCKS? Spent 3 nights this week here:
It's the KDOT mixing strip 2 mi west of Frankfort, KS, K-9 HWY is just to the left though, but not very busy. I was running a loop that Frankfort was in, and just so happened that I would run out of hours by the time I arrived to dump. That "rock" pile is the Buildex/Haydite we were hauling in. When I shot this photo, I did actually have plenty of time left, BUT, I was to load in the morning at the local elevator. Haul that to Emporia, then run back up the same highway (K-99) to Alma, take that to KC, then back to New Market to load more Haydite for Frankfort.
Now yesterday that loop was sort of broken. From Frankfort, I then had to load Gypsum at Jeffrey Energy Center, North of St. Mary's, and haul that to a hog farmer's place out in the middle of nowhere, NE of Nevada, MO. Then run back up to New Market, rinse and repeat. This farmer had ordered 8 truck loads of this stuff. This would have cost him close to $10k. Wasn't that bad, however he just managed to have 2 electric wires where we dumped. Today, when I lowered my bed, it missed one of the wires by only 3-4 ft. The guy wanted me to dump there, and he was real nervous about that wire (I was too), but I didn't let on that I was. I played it off, told him no problem, I'll miss it, and thankfully did.
Back home for this weekend. Looks like we're finally finished with winter!!!!Rocks and teddy_bear6506 Thank this. -
Spearville Ks. Came prepared this time. Had a shower in York Nebraska and a big lunch as well. Wasn't getting caught out with a cold shower and no supper like I was last time I came this way.
Eaton18 Thanks this. -
Fargo where I will be until Sunday night. And like Rocks, will get a 34 I do not need. First time it has happened to me but do head to Charlotte on Monday so will get some good miles the rest of the week.
