PNG Lima was always a pleasant place to deal with, as long you come 'n go on the right path!

 

I got in late enough last night that after eating I pretty much just hit the sheets.

Ended up with 10 delivery tickets. Nothing earth shaking. A few Hazmat loads.
A driver from another company that I REALLY get along with pointed out two other loads that I knew nothing about. Called night dispatch girl and told her what was up. She said "if you can get rid of them take them!" Now watch that the day guy had someone set up to do it today. So sorry! NOT!!!

This morning I went and got a slow leak in my right front tire fixed. Then went and ordered an upper control arm for my truck (one more thing on the "punch list")

So here I am at 14:14 telling y'all what's up.

 

Otter, 5, 4, 3, 2, ...

 

New steer tires, air dryer and door seals. Also stocked up on oil, anti-freeze, washer fluid, bulbs and grease. Checked the air in all my tires and put on new valve stem caps. Time to take a nap.

Not going anywhere this weekend... not even to WM store for some fruits... It's only 10 miles down the road... Maybe I should have parked there for my 34 reset.... Maybe I should have gone there for my fruits and come back here for the reset... But instead, I decided to park here and stay here at this BP station. And don't feel like going anywhere right now...



Back on those days of paper log, I had more freedom to take care of my personal things and enjoy my time during my resets.... Nowadays, with this elog and my company's rules, driver has to send QC message requesting personal conveyance, wait for dsp approval via QC, then driver will have a 2 hr window of time to use the personal conveyance, which can't exceed 1 hr, can't have a trailer hooked, can't be under a load...

 

I'm @ Tularosa New Mexico. Slow day today. Got up at 3:30am , got going by 4:30am. This is unusually early for me but I was awake and had taken 10 off so I got going. Got to Tucumcari Nm from Spearville Ks (300 miles). Had a nap and then took a shower and ate lunch. Headed on out of Tucumcari at 11:30am. Slow going down the 54 from Santa rosa , roadworks and 55mph speed limits. Pulled in here at Tularosa and called it a day. Weather is beautiful , sunny and warm. Warm enough for a cold beer to taste as good as it does!

 

Girl! You HAVE to get a job with a company that doesn't TORTURE you! Five years with these people and no bad dings on the DVR you should be able to write your ticket!
