Vandalia IL for another hour. Nap time after Wallyworld grub run.

Yep, at Fort Collins they want that to make sure they can max the load, but not be over-gross. Kind of a pain, but AB or Enbev...or whatever are the big boys and they get want they demand.

 

Marietta, GA. Three day wait for minor cosmetic issues, so I'm getting a DOT on this trailer before heading to Social Circle to deliver.

 

Twenty-some years ago, when they weighed you at Fort Collins; you had to pull past the gate and walk back for your paperwork and then they'd give you your weights. And more than once I heard a driver told "Sorry, but we can't let you back in the gate!" if there was an issue. (Usually the drivers fault for insisting on their way of loading, rather than listening to the loaders recomendations.)

RA south of Mauston, WI. Had a most excellent time meeting Hammer yesterday where he regaled me with stories of passing gas.

I guess he didn't enjoy it as much since he didn't mention it.

And Hammer, the Google image was a tad outdated. That intersection onto 15 is now an overpass. I had to drive all the way back to 23 to get on 94.
