I wouldn't have woke you up, my dear. I know y'all need your sleep. I only had a few minutes. I must have got there about the time you were waking up; I believe it was around 0500 or 0505. It was almost like getting to meet you.
I think it was around 0100 when the thunder woke me up and the house was shaking. I sleep so good when it's storming out and wake up to the see the flashes of lightning.
Wish the day had went a little better for you, but hopefully they'll get your truck back up and going so you'll have a good next week. -
Head to Colorado in the am so I'm counting on Pete to take the snow with him.
Anybody know how the southern half of this storm is supposed to track? -
I don't care what Pete does with the snow as long as he doesn't bring it close to me. Forecasters here are saying a snow/rain/sleet mix overnight. I say NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!!!!

Radar shows the low center over Goodland right now, with most of the precipitation on the front side of the storm- say a line from Salina up to the northeast. The projections I'm seeing are showing it sliding up to the Great Lakes, with only some light snow here and there along the front range.Zen Trucker Thanks this.

Slid out of Sioux Falls and made it to Peru. Didn't get to go to the mall but I was in Walmart for 2 hours.

I don't remember what truck stop or what state. But I was sitting in my truck with windows down and I think I had my laptop open on my steering wheel.
I heard a CRASH and the truck 4 spaces to my left was still rocking. A Swifty apparently forgot he had a trailer and MESSED up a KW 600! A good portion of the hood was GONE and the left front tire was pointing a bit south of normal!
I had 6 delivery tickets today but don't feel TOO bad. Took 6200# from HWY90/CE King Pkwy to NW Houston. And took 7238# from a place we just started serving to an Airline.
Would have done 8 tickets but whoever called the company telling us to get two orders never put the paperwork out to the shipping dept. Gonna try to get 'em in the morning.
Gonna check the Last Post thread and then hit the sack! -
