Ok... raining like all heck- on and off, but I got the load restacked. Had to yell at one of the lumpers about heaving cases around, but had nicer words for him when I left the place. At a WallyWorld for what's left of the evening off of US130 in BFE NJ. It's back to crudco at 0600 in the AM- they're going to reject a case of the wrong product. :biggrin_25510:

    :biggrin_2556: OMG!!!

    Unbelievable!! :biggrin_25513:

Oh man.... that's infuriating!! :angry5: I don't think I would be able to control myself if it were me... :biggrin_25516: :smt021

Seems to me truck stops are more unsafe than roads... easier to have an accident in a truck stop than on a hwy... :biggrin_25513:

The worst I have seen so far wasn't really an accident... But a driver who was hit and dragged a few yards by a truck, a flat bed at a Pilot in TN... He died right there in the parking lot... on a cold snowing night... It was one of the saddest things I have seen so far since started trucking...:biggrin_2553:

What an EXCITING driving day it was today... A lot of rain, fog, wind, traffic, accidents, idiots driving all over the road with no lights on, etc... :biggrin_25510:all the way from New Braunfels, TX to Forth Worth... Then, loader at shipper was having difficulties... got into arguments with his helper and dock manager got the fork lift and finished the work herself... but it took twice the time to load... Then, more heavy rain and strong wind at night... rest area was full... :biggrin_25510: And I was wondering where I was going to park on a windy, rainy night... Until I found this GREAT truck stop, almost empty... Big parking lot... only a few trucks... :biggrin_25519: I don't understand why most folks go to these filled up Pilots and Petros, and Love's and FJs... and take the risk of having their hoods damaged... when they could come to a truck stop like this... lots and lots of parking... very quiet... and safe. :yes2557: I think it's called Gulf... I am in LA. 10 more driving hrs tomorrow.

Was not picking on the oversize, doubles or triples crowd. I was referring to the dry vans and reefers who back regularly to hit a dock, but will block a fuel island to take a shower or stack up well beyond the normal end of an aisle and then lose a bumper. Folks who do not care about anyone but ego central. No consideration to the fact now that they parked in the entry drive that now everyone else has to maneuver and avoid contact when the TS was well designed to safely navigate and service. See it at the customer and company yards too.:biggrin_25514:

Another day in paradise. You must be in the LA near New Orleans, not the smog infested, fire, earthquake, mudslide overpopulated one in cali.:yes2557:

Oh. Rocks, you have to keep your secret places, secret, or they won't be secret anymore. Let the drones park at the P's & J's. TA's and Petro's are slightly better, but the few remaining family and one's of a kind are special. Then you have your WM's etc.....

At a dock at USF Charlotte where the lumpers appear to be paid by the hour because they are in no hurry to do anything. Pick up 4 miles up the road and the off to CO to see what damage Pete has left behind.
