Still at AB. They did finally load my trailer (the same one I brought in which I dropped to pick up my supposedly loaded trailer) but now I am overweight so I'm sitting in a dock, with all of the other overweight trucks. They seem to be even in less of a hurry to unload than they were to load.
The Wyoming road report does not match the radar so still not sure which way I'm going to go (assuming that at some point, I will actually get out of here).
Where are you

Welcome to truckin'!
FloTheWaitress and Zen Trucker Thank this. -
Well, I do finally have a red light. And if they just take some off the back, I'll scale out perfectly.
Of course, that probably is a bit much to ask. -
Be glad you are not playing back in the snow! Been doing intermodal around PDX for the last 4 months. Taking a week off and then going to deliver natural foods locally....probably eat better!! Would that be baked goods going south?

HAHAH...
Don't forget, Pete, that you are the one who invented this "obscure" parking thing... For me, they are more of a retreat or a safe haven than obscure... specially when there's no other place to park in the near 30 miles or so... or all truck stops in the area are full and I have only a few mins left...
These places are like Oasis in the desert...
Anyway, was driving my vehicle yesterday, running my errands when I spotted those trucks parked at a Burger King parking lot on Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN... took a picture... See those 2 trucks at the end of the driveway (on the left)? That's DEFINITELY a Rocks Place

LOL...
You are more creative than I am... BTW, showering inside the truck, not in the trailer... Actually, I saw a truck one time with a 10 gallon plastic water tank like a cooler tied to something about 6 feet above catwalk... I bet the driver was using that as a shower...
FloTheWaitress Thanks this. -
showering in the trailer makes a better story
i am writing stories
not a nonfiction documentary
here is a shower option

I got a call from my dispatcher a few minutes ago... They finally have my truck done. Will be late leaving tomorrow as I have to first go get it, bobtail back to the yard and hook up to my trailer. So I'll have at least a few days this week, which will mean the next couple of paychecks are going to be real, real, small.
Rocks, teddy_bear6506 and Giggles the Original Thank this.
