Was reading in the trucker paper that USA stock price was 42% higher 1st quarter this year than it was 1st quarter last year. That's a positive move.

Cant blame you for trying to find the positive man. You know as well as anyone why the stock has gone higher and it has nothing to do with financial performance.

Finanacials are improving, if only in small marks. The bleeding has slowed. Dying slower or beginning a turn??????? Stay tuned.

I don't know. That doesn't necessarily mean they did better. Some companies get more stockholders by just laying off 10 % of their workforce. Not that that is happening, Unemployment rate can get more stockholders. Somebody else is getting better information than we are getting.

Anyone who thinks USA is getting better is dreaming. The trucking industry is a slow moving industry. The only surprises will be surprise losses.

It appears there are many cheerleaders for the negative slide of things.

If cash losses are decreasing; asset management is improving along with an increase in miles per tractor during the traditional industry lull period....... most anyone except naysayers would believe the moves are positive. I am not saying USA has made a turn, but it is well obvious an effort is underway to correct things.

If you or anyone else had 2300 tractors and suddenly decided to correct any one problem...... whether a universal loose nut or a deffective turbo it would take a while to correct the entire problem. With the formal training I have I can genuinely say I believe USA is changing course. The visible changes are not something that occur by accident. Of course, that view is offered only through a finance/accounting window. My knowledge does not incorporate industry savy whatsoever.

I don't know about you, but I am a new USA employee and I hope the company succeeds.

    Be safe.

    dinkytruckerdoo and Thomas0810 Thank this.
