Take off your shoes and socks, then curl your toes. Just hope there aren't any German terrorists in the building.
honestly, it's hard to do but let things go. Car cuts you off, say ef it. Heavy traffic, stay to the right let the other idiots do their thing and go around. If you need to change lanes for interchange, do it early and stay there, let the other idiots go around.

The relaxed thing for me is coming along. Music helps, my radio reception is crappy so I have my own plugged in through the aux jack on the stereo. I'm getting some decent walks in during my ten hour breaks too. As far as my first week out solo, things got better daily and I'm hoping for some even larger improvements this next tour. I try to keep up with my co-workers that went through RDTC with me, they post on here when they can. As far as I know, 4 of the 6 of us are doing well and have all gone through or have made it through our first solo trips. one had some med issues before the trainer phase and one I'm just not sure of, he doesn't post on here. It's just a melting pot for me.

Thanks for the advise. I'm really not too bothered by what everyone else does, my biggest issue is mainly myself and my own state of mind. I just need to find peace with myself, and I'm sure it will come once I get out there. It's good to hear you're keeping up with your classmates, goblue. I hope that I'm able to keep up with everyone I met in RDTC.

Can anyone please tell me... do you need to get your CDL Permit before you get accepted at RDTC?

    Thanks and be safe.

When you have the money get an XM radio and keep the subscription up. That way you can choose music that fits your mood. Find something that is easy to listen to in the back ground. I must hit sometimes 4-5 different stations in the course of a day. Softer in the mornings and by afternoon to music to keep me in the beat and moving for those last couple of hours. Take away my CB but I will fight you over the XM.

    goblue Thanks this.

keep in touch and I will say that I have yet to have a bad encounter with a fellow Roehl driver. Considering I'm new, I really appreciate that. It's a nice environment to start out and work in.
