It's a goin Teddy Bear....just getting the mind set back to become a truck driver again tomorrow......once that thing is parked I forget about it....LOL....

 

Hey, when you leave work, you're supposed to forget it. Other than a few occasions, I leave it the moment I shut the light out to the office.

I've got a great boss & dispatcher to work with. I asked the boss at 1510 if he had anything he needed help with, as I'd already done all the damage I could to Tuesday loads. He said, "nope, do you have your 40 hours in?" Told him I had over 40, and he told me to go home. I thanked him and told him I wasn't going to argue.

 

yesterday, Franklin Park, Illinois, Major Flood`s, In almost 40 years in Chicago Land, this was the worse I have ever been in. And today, still bad in many places.

 

never been there......sounds pleasant........NOT...and I've been to alot of rat holes in Chitown...LOL.....

 

Hey, Hi ya doing Nik? Still running hard? Gotta take a long break from truckin. I was in the Floods in Franklin Park, Illinois, yesterday and today. Yesterday, I was in one spot for 2 hrs, a total of 6 hours to get out of Melrose Park, Illinois. Darn nightmare on North Avenue. Great to see ya again. I dont post a lot here. Just stay in the Crusty Corner, and Flo`s, Keeps me out of trouble.

 

I rolled in at 20:45 with 8 delivery tickets done.

I made one of the SDV people go up a few points on blood pressure. He was absolutely certain that if I did not make 3pm cutoff his world would end. It all worked out, but I promised Air France no Haz after that and bigger than Dallas I had another pallet of Haz (which got rejected - cheating me out of two other deliveries).

Shant be awake much longer.
