Honestly, don't know what it means. Just know what it is ... it's the annual DOT inspection that Swift requires every 90 days.

An annual inspection that is done every 3 months?
Sounds like an oxymoron, since annual means once per year.

I don't know what BIT means, either. But yes, it is the 3 month inspection.
Funny, but I've not had one for some time now.

    Oh, wait...
    I just did a search.
It means Biennial Inspection of Terminals (BIT) Program
A CA program for inspecting trucks.

And, good night from Roseville, CA.

Dropped my load this morning at 0800, then headed for Aunt Lynne's house for some (very late) home time.
My eldest younger daughter is visiting here, for my visit, then will be going back with my eldest older daughter - a couple towns away.

I made my infamous Chicken Fried Rice for dinner (except for Luana (the above former), who is now a vegy - so she had it without the Chicken).
Tomorrow I am doing a 20# turkey with all the fixin's.

    Heaven!

When I picked up my load today I didn't have a delivery appt so I took a WAG and said 04/26 @ 1600. 1325 miles in 2 1/2 days, why not. Imagine my suprise when I get the infamous "Load assignment for blah blah has been rescheduled" and the delivery time is: 04/25 @ 1300. Didn't realize I was supposed to take it to the nearest airport and load it on a plane!

Stupid crack smoking CSR. No, I didn't send a Mac 22.....I'M NOT LATE!

Several of my last few loads have been problem loads. Only the Walmart load went off without a hitch. Overweight high value load at a California scale, major beaucoup bucks to fix that one, totally my fault.
Next one, delivery won't accept load because some numbers on the bol case count don't match what his computer says.
This made me late for my next delivery so I battled to tcall it in Vegas, finally successfully.
Accepted another load to pick up at tcall point in Vegas, waited a 34 hour break for it and it was still sitting in Los Angeles so had that one removed.
Then the good Walmart load yay.
Deadhead over 200 miles for the next load, camp out all day and all night outside their gate only to find out they don't need it picked up til 4 days later. Finally got that one removed.
Pick up another load same place next day (Tuesday) similar miles, no appointment, today they make the appointment for Monday. I don't think so. Got a tcall set up for that one now, of course I need to slingshot around the sun to go back in time to delivery on time, what's the point, it isn't due til Monday?
