Well... I am at Wally world in AR. Dropped my loaded trailer and bobtail to this little tiny car fuel station...


There are 4 trucks here and 3 trailers... Not much room at all... But I made myself a good spot...




And finally today I had the pleasure to meet my former load planner. She lives in this town and we had been waiting for a looooong time to meet each other. She is the BEST! And she thinks I am the best! She no longer works in my company... So, we went for some coffee and tea and chatting... Would have accepted her invitation to join her at a dinner with other folks but I decided to come back to my truck and unwind. Slept 4 hrs last night, drove almost 10 hrs today with a 5 min stop to send msg to dsp....
Will get an mpt trailer tomorrow and head to near my next shipper. P/up will be Monday... So, will sit for the whole weekend and take another 34... although I still have 37 from my 70... My calculations show that from when I came back on the road, on 04/20 till tomorrow, 04/27, I will have run 3294 miles... including the 34 reset I took on 04/23... But I don't feel I have run much at all....

After watching a guys (buddy) trailer while he went to get his extra lock key, I strolled into the house right about 20:00. I did eleven tickets today. Many of them from a place that pays a bit better then SDV. Had one Haz Mat rejected for missing stuff on the Air Waybill. Took it back and got a new ticket to re-deliver with updated AWB.

Had a dinky little 2# carton with Primary Lithium Batteries in it. I felt sure it would be rejected. But the office girl let me write out a label and we taped on the box and voila!

Kinda glad I'm off for two days. The weather is supposed to get crummy tomorrow and Sunday......

i was just 8.5 hours at kroger in keller tx
