IMO, the worst, most chaotic big name truck stops are Pilot. Some of them, I wonder if they were built for smaller trucks... and amazingly, the tight ones are always full... I know sooo many that I totally hate. My company fuels at Pilots, FJ and a couple of TAs. So I go to Pilots a lot... And some are the ugliest, smallest, most packed Pilots on the map. :biggrin_25510: Unfortunately, due to a very limited fuel choices we have, I can't avoid some that I hate...

I understand... As for me, I like my bed in the truck just fine... :yes2557: Just miss a bathroom + shower inside the truck... :biggrin_25526: And I wish I could park anywhere I wanted, whenever I needed... :yes2557:

I hear ya Rocks! We used FJ some, Pilot and Loves a LOT. T/A only when needed tire or truck service.

And when I say truck of choice one thing it absolutely would HAVE to have would be a good name brand APU! Non-negotiable!

A bit of a follow-up to this nice post....

I did not...repeat....did NOT lock the cats in a room last night.

    No.

I DID, however, fail to check before closing the sliding door at the back of the house before checking to see if they were back in. It rained last night, and they spent the night under the barbecue grill.

So, to feel comparable, I spent most of the afternoon under the house replacing the dryer vent hose. The lot slopes, so access isn't difficult. Then, just to continue to prove my manhood, I re-caulked the bathroom shower drain as it was leaking from around the drain.

I should add a note here to you potential do-it-yourselfers...

Do not, under any circumstance, grab your glasses haphazardly when you've been handling silicone caulk. Had it not been for the wife having some alcohol wipes handy (made for glasses), I might be in a bigger fix then I already am.

Now if y'all will excuse me, I have some electrical sockets I must test with my tongue.......:biggrin_2556:
