only getting back 3 hours tues and 4 on wed
must be time to move on everything aggravates me at the moment -
Pete... 585 miles is a good running day man...
And it doesn't matter how many breaks you take... as long as it works for you... Each one of us has a different way of doing our jobs according to our loads, our schedules and ourselves... I like to run hard, non stop even when it's not necessary, even when I end up running only 2500 a week... but hey, when this new HOS start in July, I may try the no reset/ recycle hrs only method for a while... I have done it before and didn't like it... After 2 weeks only I was dying to take a reset...

Well that must be catching..
Spent 3 hours sitting roadside today too...trailer tire blowout
Service plaza on 80 Indiana -
I once had a tire blow to smithereens on a trailer. Another trucker offered to follow me about three exits to a T/A. I did that rather then TRY to contact Road Rescue! I let T/A mess with all that!
I am of course at home. And I am going to bed as it is a "school" night!
Y'all have fun wherever you are!Rocks Thanks this. -
Kennebunk service plaza on I95 southbound in ME. TruckerDawg is already sawin' wood!

HAHAH.... I have been at this truck stop since yesterday early afternoon. And I haven't sit still for 10 mins... Well, I slept for 12 hrs... And that was necessary and very enjoyable...
But other than that, I walked to and from shipper -which is just around the corner - to double check the address, I cooked, I did some paperwork, took my laptop to McDonalds and searched the web for some info I need, called my dear beloved dad in Brasil, cleaned the windows, inspected truck, swept the trailer, swept and wiped the floors inside truck, called a couple of friends, sent a few emails, did my paper log, after rechecking my elog, now planning my next trip after this one that will p/up tomorrow.... and I am not finished yet...
So, once I deliver this load that I pick up tomorrow, I will be picking up another one near St. Louis, MO and then going to California! -
Wood!? What dog language is that? I though it would be woof....
HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thanks this. -
