Thanks Pete... I was thinking about Eaton this morning... WHERE IS HE? And BTW, what people are you talking about? That WVDG? Who is she?

I am in NM at a regular truck stop like everybody else... Got a good spot (hopefully).... Will leave before 6 am eastern time.

Wind was pretty strong today... Entering TX all the way to NM.... from 25 to 45 mph and gusty at 55 mph.... And my load is only 18,350... :biggrin_2552:
Saw this today... on I-40 W in TX.... road was closed... No idea what caused... didn't see any other vehicle... I wonder how that happened... :biggrin_2557:

I wondered if Eaton was out hauling salt into the area for our May snowstorm :biggrin_25523: I watch for his truck daily, but don't see many from his company.

Sorry was absent for awhile... Was busy over this past weekend doing things around the house. Now for this week.. yep been hauling salt, out west in the middle of nowhere KS. First time since I've started peddling a big truck, I've had to go to a different time zone. Hauled to Syracuse, KS. I also made a run to Tulsa this week, hauling Haydite to a concrete plant, actually was in Broken Arrow.

Yesterday had to haul 2 loads of salt to Garden City. Rain, and WIND all day long. Wasn't that bad when I was loaded (85.5k), but running back MT along K156, there were a few times I thought I was going to blow over.

Spent the night parked behind a motel in Lyons, waiting to go load more salt today. This time it's for Dighton.. Yippeee (not). Hopefully the roads will be ok. I'd already be gone, except they will not be ready (whatever that means) for the salt until noon. I guess no one will be available to open a door, a gate or whatever.

Again my apologies for being absent. This past week I've been rolling at 2 or 3 am, and running right up to the last minute/second/nano-second of my day. So far this week I've had to do some minor alterations. :biggrin_25525:

Morgan hill ,ca. Took me 7 hours to drive 280 miles. Got stuck in a jam up in Livermore ca on the 580 west due to a fatal wreck. I don't get stuck in too many traffic jams running the areas I do, I don't know how you right siders deal with all the traffic problems you get out there. I would go mad !!
