Only did that one load for Coyote. I prefer to mix it up unless one of my good contacts is covered up with freight, which for the last several months, none of them have been. Everything I do is from loadboards and all contacts were made there.. To save me some typing I'll just direct you to this thread: http://www.thetruckersreport.com/tr...ystem-do-you-like-works-best.html#post3264572
JimmyWells, aiwiron and 5150 jack Thank this. -
i am pretty sure north carolina is in that pile
this is why i am going to OOIDA when i get my authority, they KNOW this stuff, vs guessing -
Truth is Coyote grows by getting kids right out of college they know absolutely nothing about freight rules and regulations, pay them 30 grand a year and tell them to go cover freight. They are some people there good to deal with but don't expect a loot of factual stuff out of their mouths when it comes to stuff like that.

I just hauled a load for them out of Nashville, Tn to Oky city 2500 and didn't have to beg for the rate, told the agent what i wanted and they said yes, this is for load of pipe no tarp, they where very easy to work with.

Pretty good rate. Prob materials being moved for tornado relief. One thing you gotta add a couple of hundred extra miles to deadhead somewhere like Dallas where you can get something out because there ain't crap in OKC

That is very true! My previous employer used Coyote quite a bit to get us back to DFW from So Cal. More than once I dealt with what sounded like an 18 year old girl that sounded like she was being coached by someone. Granted I was a company driver and our communication was regarding pu delays and reschedules for delivery due to those delays. But yes, they know nothing about HOS and that is truly a PITA having to inform them about the regs.
