My load picked up in OH going to sacremento love that ride in summer not so much in winter checked weather streets were clear and above freezing that was until the last two dayz of the trip my plan was to drive the day till night so i would try to keep temps above freezing. well in wyoming at the TA in the middle of no where some one forgot to at least go through the parking lot once with a shovel I saw two trucks at the pump stuck and i pull in to fuel creeping along and the tractor slides looking like im gonna take out a couple of pumps but i get it under control (WHEW) anywayz its a nascar fuel stop and im off sunlight and good road so far until right outside Utah into Nevada i run into really dense fog freezing rain i put my hazzards on and slow it down other guyz whizzin by my like its daylight out and I shut down at next rest area talk on cb was weather supposed to get bad round mid night but it was already gettin there and temps was droppin fast. when i get up the trees and bushes were frosty freezepops but were fallin off as im doin pretrip i make sure the ground is not slippery/icy temp was bout 34 i put her in the wind and there was a sign sayin accident ahead turned out to be miles ahead near wennmucca there were 3 big trucks one looked like it did a 360 but kept up right but jackknifed facing east on west side, a werner truck perfectly laying on its side, and another which look like it did a 360 also but did not fare as well the trailer was on its side and the tractor was on top of the trailer the driver side was pretty messed up. I pray everyone came out ok in those situations. turns out what i thought was gonna be worst road turned out the best goin thru donners pass.
