From what I have experienced this is not unusual for the area. Sucks? Heck ya! :biggrin_25510: Realistic? Lately it seems to be most of the time. 13'6" wide dump bodies out of Laredo to Peoria, IL are paying just a dime more than this. :biggrin_2557:

    Happy trails! :biggrin_25525:

Well Oscar the reason I am interested in coming over to Mercer is to make money. I don't have a problem in coming over to St Louis to get my week started but I really don't feel it would be all the time either. I have watched the "Public" Mercer load board and I see freight coming out of my 50/100 mile radius area quite a bit. I don't think I ever said I couldn't do anything except haul green and yellow but it is what I do at the moment. In either case, Mercer has seen fit to narrow my ability to come over and until I lease/buy a trailer from another source it's a dead issue. As for being picky, I agree to keep the quality of the herd up it is wise to be a little picky. But in my defense the bar seems a bit high in this case. No harm, no foul. I hold no ill will because I may work out a trailer deal sometime in the future and we'll look at the opportunity again at that time.

    Happy trails...... :biggrin_25525:

Our van board seems to be pretty busy. I see rates from $1.23 to $2.13, but that is to the truck. I think $1.50+ is possible.

Finally got my cheap $35 printer from Wal-Mart. Eclipse logs look good.

Where does the beginning odometer reading go? Do I have to write it in?
