So much for "First in, first out".
3 of us loaded in Louisville, then unloaded in Ohio. I unloaded first, met #2 driver at the T/A, ate breakfast, then I surfed the net and went down for a nap. I heard his truck fire up and leave. 3 hours later I get a load going to Illinois. The receiver mentioned I was the second Mercer truck for the day. I described the other truck and yes, it was the other guy. Hmmm...... -
I spoke to a Mercer recruiter at MATS year before last. We discussed average ratEs and my jaw dropped when he told me what I would have to take to get out of someplaces. The lowest was $1.30 and the highest was $1.65. He said that was gross not ttt.
There is no way I could haul that cheap. What is your side of the story? -
I've never even been offered a load that pays that cheap. And I live in south west Florida. what areas was he referring to?Last edited: May 16, 2013
