Where are you

Got to the yard around 16:00 today. Left last sat at 09:00, a pickup in NC, then a stop in OR with a pickup in WA. Got to see Montana for the first time. Dear God what a long state, very beautiful though.

 

The steak and eggs is pretty tasty there.

Finally got loaded at 16:30, just in time for MPS rush hour and then got stuck north of the Dells for an hour as people really seem to have a hard time with merging from 2 lanes to one. Just turned the truck off a couple times. Once it finally went back to 2 lanes and we started doing more than 25, made a mad 67 mph dash and got to the RA with 3 minutes to spare.

Some days e-logs really, really suck.

 

Had a live delivery today for a change.... then was going to park at nearest truck stop which was 28 miles from receiver but dsp got me another load... Now parked at this Pilot in Florida. This place is FULL!! beyond capacity now... I am glad I got here in time to get a good spot.



Cleaned windows, mirrors, inspected truck, took shower, did my elog and my paper log, paperwork to send to company, had my pasta with vegetables, spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get to my next shipper.... Two pick/ups tomorrow and then heading to Memphis, TN.
