Twin falls, Idaho. Travelers oasis. I've never understood why the flying J is packed out yet this place I'm at has a big open lot and a decent restaurant , clean showers, nice drivers lounge area yet is allways half empty?
I've been to the Flying J twice , once to get a flat tire repaired and once to use the blue beacon truck wash. Both times that place was a Charlie Foxtrot , so why park there????

 

Pete, if ya haven't noticed we're truckers. There ain't no such thing as a 5-star truck stop.

 

That may be true, Pony, but there are a lot of awesome 5 star truckers There are several of them here that visit with us pesky 4 wheelers

 

but do we have to accept -5 in a TS
the mr fuel exit 6 other side of 80 has some bbq that is at least acceptable

 

Doing one now in Jacksonville, FL then second in GA

Sitting at a dock in Des Plaines, IL with my 14 rapidly expiring. A lot of trucks here before me and none of them seem to be leaving. I was hoping to get to BRFalls, which was reduced to Lake Wisconsin (the Taj Mahal of Rest Areas). I may be lucky to make it to South Beloit.
