At the dock at KSoopers. $215 for the lumpers. You'd think at that price they'd be a little quicker. :(

The sad part is that the lumpers themselves don't make any more money than they did 20-odd years ago.

Still in the vast metropolis of rural Alcester. I can't believe anyone uses this finance company, still waiting on funding so I can release this truck! It's been in process for over two weeks now. I could have worked another week!:banghead:

You just gotta love HOS. 10 hour break in Denver, 1 hour drive to Ft. Collins and now have to take an 8 to stop my 14.

Of course, my trailer isn't loaded yet anyway (surprise, surprise) so at this moment, the point is moot.

Welcome to truckin'! Hope this wasn't a "rude" awakening! :biggrin_25522:

...a regular, uninvited yet educational awakening is usually good enough. :biggrin_2556:

Oh BOTHER! As I accelerated up to highway speed I decided 60 was as much as I was going to risk. One of my front tires, the tires I was led to believe hardly ever do bad stuff like belt separation, has done something bad.

Tires are not supposed to care if they turn a different direction these days but what if?

Anyhow they had a stack of these where I got them so I'm gonna head that way in the morning and see if they will have a bit of pity on me......
