WD-40 or Greased Lightning works wonders on stuck 5th wheels. Used it on my last truck. Took a few mins but after awhile it slid.

I could be wrong on this but check the inside cover of your motor carriers atlas. It will have the weight limits for all states. If I'm not mistaken NM gives you 34320 on a set of tandems without a permit.

They won't even look at you in New Mexico and you really don't have to go around Liberal either. They won't bother you is a safe bet. Not sure how you run it but you alos have Bellevue scale and the one in Nebraska by Hebron too as well as by Lincoln. That's the shortest way to the twin cities, or at least my preferred route.

Hebron on 136 is usually locked up the one on 81 is usually open and its a single pad and he wont be good at that one. As for the two by Lincoln driver can take hwy 6 to bypass the 2 scales on I80 and get on 80 at gretna theres a scape at wilber on hwy 6 but as long as it isnt csa week that ones locked up. There is one other way to bypass the scales on 80 and that's to head up 77 go through wahoo and instead of going up through Fremont heading east and hanging a left at the 4 ways and going through valley takes you right by Midwest manufacturing. Taking hwy 2 bypassing that one isn't bad either take Syracuse exit head south to hwy 123 head east catch 75 back up north to hwy 2. You can bypass the scale on 81 by Hebron as well but its a PITA to get a truck down the gravel roads and if you hang a left on the wrong road they'll nail you for avoiding the scale. I usually go up 2 miles on the gravel and get back on.

Its sad that I know all this but hey I don't like chicken houses. Far as I'm concerned that neb city chicken house would be the worst one he could weigh at. I'm waiting for them to build a super coop there they've always got somebody OOS when I go by it...in my personal vehicle of course that's one coop I'll never weigh at again.

    Big Jay Thanks this.

It's sad that I know all those routes and maybe more too. Last time out of Yuma was over gross all the way back but put it on the spread so less visible than on a tandem. Never looked at me the whole way.
