Made it to Milan Nm. Got the final on and got out of Yuma at 1030am. Slow going up the hills from Phoenix to flagstaff. Didn't get as far as I wanted to today but got far enough. Can't help it if it's slow going. Pulling those hills up the I17 in the heat is allways going to be slow going at 80k pounds. Pull it down and chug up the hill. No sense in putting too much stress on my old motor. Will try to max out the miles tommorow , only got to go accross 40 to OKC then up towards Tulsa . Should be able to get to about Stroud Oklahoma. Does anyone know how much to toll is to take the 44 turnpike from OKC to Tulsa?

 

$16.50 IIRC. Make sure you get there early... very limited parking in the Tulsa area.

Woodward OK at the WallyWorld... Hutch's is slammed this time of night. Got loaded with taters immediately in Monte Vista, beautiful run down US160 through southern Colorado. Mt Blanca is as majestic as ever.

Anybody in or around OK City, there are tornadoes heading into downtown and toward Moore. I believe they said I40 traffic is being turned around into the other lane to get out of the path. I35 is a parking lot. The tornado is wrapped in rain and people don't see the tornado for the rain. There are multiple tornadoes in the city. If you are near a TV, FoxNews has a storm chaser right in the heart of the storm, and the coverage is much better than WeatherChannel.

Anybody familiar with the scale house on I40 (Baynor Rd?) there are reports of several tractor trailers overturned.
