Been sitting at the Kroger DC for 4 hours. They unloaded the truck 3 hours ago. Everytime I check for the paperwork they just tell me to wait.in my truck

Got a preplan this morning for a hot load. Picked up at the ellenwood yard going to Cicero, Illinois. Was told the load would be repowered and will get a load back south. So I gave them a location in route of the furthest I could make it and they got me a repower in the exact location I planned (Whiteland, Indiana). Got here a few hours ago, swapped trailers and the repower load im on now is going back to Florida. So I'm going back south like I was told I would. I'm a happy camper when things work out. Things continue to keep going up and hopefully it stays that way.

Sounds good. Since I haven't run since the end of January, I don't know what to expect for accounts and freight. Denver is a nice change.

Shutdown yesterday at the TA in Jackson, GA. Went to bed and was awoken at midnight to the most god awful rotten egg Smell. Got up and went straight to the battery box, and as expected, a battery at the end of its life. Called breakdown, got the approval, walked into the shop and checked in... And in typical TA shop fashion.... I was rolling almost 8 hours later... 8 hours....one battery...

During my break I got notified of another preplan heading back to Atlanta area once I get done in Lakeland, FL. Will be right on the cusp of a 3000 mile week and will still have Tuesday to run as well before the pay period ends.

The appt system for the shop seems to be ok. I had a 1930 spot. Got in at 2130 and finished right at 2330.

Sitting the Jax yard now waiting for my hometime load to get ready tonight.

Aji. The more I read through these threads the more upset I get. I was also a link driver and thought this merger was going to be great for everyone. I have told myself several time that things were going to get better and after we as owner operators had a meeting with the big guys I really thought things were going to change and it did for a few but things are still the same. It feels like they threw you the bait and little by little take it away.

But in the last two to three weeks this has been crazy I am on the verge of leaving the place the dispatch have no sense of respect or courtesy to a driver one gives you a preplan and when the shift changes they cancel you, they dont even have time to give you atleast five minutes on the phone to explain the situation everything is computer which is all good but when you have a problem its easier to handle it on the phone and when the truck is rolling I will not stop everu five minutes to read and respond to messages time is money and if the calls are not there and my wheels are not moving this truck is not making money.

I will be requsting a meeting in the next few days to see what they tell me.

Don't remember where I left off. Anyhow, Last Thursday I made it home on time, as requested. I took 4 days off to have a belated wedding reception as I worked to help a national acct instead of my honeymoon last year. I explained that to my DM and his boss and was immediately approved for the 4 days off. I got home on time, had 4 preplans when I came back.

Bradenton, FL to Groveland, FL to Valdosta, GA

Valdosta, GA to Lake Park, GA to Dublin, GA

Dublin, GA to Forest Park, GA to Jacksonville, FL

Jacksonville, FL to Lee, FL to Atlanta, GA (load I'm on now)

Next preplan is Fairburn, GA to Arcadia, FL.

Whole week was planned before I got back to the truck. Very much appreciated.
