Actually, in a strange twisted way this thread was started because somebody got $50 for a flat tire breakdown. This problem is a result of USA Truck's unwillingness to pay for the drivers time to sit at a shop getting the companies equipment repaired. The company has a bunch of bozo FM's that likes to pay certain drivers for breakdowns and not others. As long as the company chooses to exercise these type of practices then drivers will continue to drag trailer with flat tires and leave the problem for the next guy. You can call in and complain all you want but the problem will not go away so dont waste your time.

The shops at terminals do this when the trailers are in for service. This is just away to incourage drivers to enter the trailer number when fueling. If the driver doesnt have to go look for the trailer number they will be more likely to enter the info at the pump.

Really? Cause I'm the one that started this thread and I don't remember saying once that I was upset that someone got $50 and I didn't. I guess someone forgot to inform me why I created this thread........

If you haven't figured out how to fix those without a ladder, keep thinking you'll figure it out.

I did read what you posted and BTW, whenever you have a trailer that has all the lights out except for one the problem is usually the pigtail cable from your tractor. You probably need to stop at TA/PETRO and have B/D get you a new one. I have to replace mine about every 6 months for the same problem. The trailer probably didnt have all the problems that you thought it had.

i saw a trailer numbered 20002 last Friday. Where/what is that? They did ask where i found the 51xxx but said nothing more.

My travel agents are missing some crucial understandings. I have a preplan for the next couple days. The weekend guy wants me to do a round trip Louisville/NC and circumvent the preplan(s). Too many heads on that monster. LOL

I believe 20002 is the trailer in west memphis Lawrence uses for upgrades and check rides. It is not supposed to leave West memphis.

I have a 52xxx now. These are supposed to coming out of the fleet too. Everything works but the #### tandems are hel l to slide.

    Sent from somewhere out there

one thing is clear there are several drivers working for USA Truck on this forum that wouldn't last long at the companies that enforce post trip inspections on trailers when they are dropped with lights not working.I spoke to a driver that worked for a carrier that is regarded as one of the better ones that said they have to fill out inspection sheets when they drop a trailer and sign it stating there were no issues. He said their drivers get wrote up and eventually shown the door for not doing their job completely to perfection each day which is what you are suppose to do when you hold a cdl. This attitude by grown men that its not my job to fix lights or leave trailers with no problems for the next guy cause I don't have time to do my job the right way is nonsense. You can get points on your cdl for non working lights ,torn mud flaps etc etc, everyone knows this. The company has its issues which we cant control, but that is no excuse for us not to do things the right way

    Reycer and ezmed Thank this.
